Nov 07, 2006 (Tue): The Hotel del Coronado?s new signature restaurant and bar, 1500 OCEAN, will host the third installment of its ?Savor the Southland? event series on Tuesday, November 7. Chef Jason Shaeffer will collaborate with a local farmer and winemaker to bring you a casual and intimate take on the traditional wine dinner. Chuck Carlson, winemaker at Curtis Winery in the Santa Ynez Valley will present some of his favorite Rhone-style varietals including his renowned Syrah. Chef Jason and a local farmer will create a complimentary menu featuring the best that the Southland has to offer this fall. The evening includes tastings, a wine reception and dinner. Advance reservations are required. Space is limited and special guests and vendors are subject to change.
